Safety和Security的区别

长久以来，我们一直受困于Safety和Security的区别，两者在中文里面都表示安全，但是在英文中这两个词汇还是有一些区别的。

Safety：处于安全的状态（The state of being safe）。防止意外事件。

Security：受到保护的条件，或者是没有暴露在危险之中（The condition of being protected from or not exposed to danger）。防止故意破坏。

举例1：我们说一个地方是安全的，有两层含义。Safety：这个地方不会有任何意外发生；Security：这个地方被严格保护起来了，能够抵御外来的恶意破坏。

举例2：一条道路是Safe的，是指这条路上没有山体滑坡的威胁；而说这条道路是Secure的，是指这条道路上有很多士兵或者警察在保护行人的安全。

Safety First! (this means that you have to make sure no accidents can happen). Security First (this means you have to make sure no ill-intentioned action can occur.

举例3：Safety First是指要确保没有任何意外事件的发生。Security First是指要确保没有恶意的行为发生。
