Problem.

  • Use hfss to design a waveguide.
  • Draw the electric filed distribution of three different modes when the intrinsic frequency equals 13 13 13 GHz and 15 15 15 GHz.
  • The size of waveguide: 22.86 22.86 22.86* 10.16 10.16 10.16* 100 100 100 (Unit: m m mm mm)

Analysis: There are two ports on the bottom and top of the waveguides. Each port has three modes. And we can edit the sources in the above window.

Solution.

Case 1: Intrinsic frequency equals 13 13 13 GHz.
