OS X上的AMPPS邮件

我一直在OS X 10.9-10.11版本（Mavericks to El Capitan）上运行AMPPS（Softaculous AMPPS），并且从未必须配置任何电子邮件设置才能使PHP mail（）函数工作。

我的问题是，怎么样，或者哪里的电子邮件被发送自？我从来没有以任何方式配置AMPPS来发送电子邮件。他们似乎工作。

我发现OS X预装了postfix，这就是为什么我不需要为PHP设置SMTP设置。

但是，与我的电脑问题，并避免更多的麻烦，我只是在我的Windows本地服务器上安装hMailServer和PHP邮件（）函数完美地发送电子邮件。
